About Jane Zumbrunnen

She is a Native American (Micmac) basket maker, specializing in traditional and fancy brown ash and sweetgrass baskets. She is also the 1997 recipient of the Traditional Artists Apprenticeship Award from the Maine Arts Commission for her achievement as a Master Micmac basket maker.
